Ufc Jones Vs Santos Fight Card
The UFC is back on home soil in “Sin City” with UFC 239, one of its biggest cards of the year, which features two title fights at the top of the bill and a highly anticipated featured bout at welterweight.
In the main event, light heavyweight champion Jon Jones looks to defend his title against Thiago Santos. And in the co-main event, the only two women who share the distinction of knocking out Ronda Rousey square off when bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes takes on ex-champ Holly Holm. The card also features Ben Askren vs. Jorge Masvidal, with both men hoping to secure a shot at the 170-pound title.
Take a look at the UFC 239 event info, lineup with start times, and key storylines below.

Sean O’Malley was also scheduled to fight Marlon Vera at UFC 239, but a failed USADA test led to the Nevada State Athletic Commission disallowing him from competing at the. Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones takes center stage once again when he battles the heavy hitting Thiago Santos in the main event. Jones was supposed to headline this event three years ago in a rematch with Daniel Cormier, but was removed from the card two days before the fight following a positive USADA test.

Joshua insists 'that wasn't me' in Ruiz Jr defeat and brands Fury a 'warm-up act'UFC 239: What has been said?
Jon Jones: “I think [anyone] could knock me out if I put my hands behind my back and let you punch me in the face! I think every man and woman in this audience is strong enough to knock me out if I let them punch me squarely in the chin.
“Every UFC fighter I’ve ever fought has had the power to knock me out. It’s about being skilled enough to land that punch. Thus far, no one’s been skilled enough to land that punch, and I don’t think anything is going to change on Saturday night.
“MMA is an endurance sport, it’s a 25-minute endurance sport. I believe in the first two rounds his muscles will work to his advantage. Anything after that, he’s carrying extra weight and I think it will ultimately work against him.

“I’m actually a lot lighter than I normally am (in fight week),” he continued. “My idea was I’m fighting a guy moving up from middleweight, so I don’t need to be any more powerful, or stronger, for this fight. I need to be able to move really well and have some serious endurance.
“So I believe if it goes anywhere past two rounds, the fight is definitely going to quickly move in my favour, but I also believe I can finish him in the first two rounds as well, so let’s just see how it all plays out.”
